Back in 2015, we were searching for ways to expand our beautiful website designs to other platforms besides WordPress. We had our sights set on Squarespace and even had a name for our brand - Squaremuse, but the idea remained on hold for more than a year. In 2016, armed with a plan and vision, we created our first design kits and opened the shop. Fast forward to today, we have come a long way, offering over 30 website designs and hundreds of custom elements.
Squaremuse - the end of a chapter
Our journey took an exciting turn, when our team joined Pixieset, the well-known provider of Client Photo Galleries, Websites, and Studio Management tools for photographers. Since then, we have been actively involved in creating stunning themes and introducing exciting updates to the Pixieset Website. We feel incredibly honored to serve hundreds of thousands of photographers worldwide and help them power up their business from one convenient platform.
Today, we have news to share, both bitter and sweet. We decided to focus all of our attention on furthering the Pixieset Website platform, and bid farewell to Squaremuse. Keep reading to learn more.
What’s next for Squaremuse users
Starting May 5th, the Squaremuse Shop is closed and designs are no longer available for purchase. However, the product documentation, blog, showcase pages will remain active so you can continue to get support and inspiration to build your site.
Our support team will also be available and can be reached by submitting a ticket until January 31st 2024.

Since joining the Pixieset team 2 years ago, we have been actively involved in creating stunning themes and updates for the Pixieset Website builder.
